Hello! My name is Inês Prata.
I am an interdisciplinary Visual Artist
currently working and living in Lisbon.
I believe that the blending of the several areas in which I work define my voice as a
Visual Artist.
It also allows me to get knowledge and experience from more than one field or subject, which helps in solving problems and creating visual solutions within my professional work.
As a Designer & Illustrator, through the years,
I had the opportunity to work for clients across a wide variety of industries and projects, with especial emphasis on the medical Graphic Design and on the publishing industry.
I'm passionate about books, and I have a broad experience in the book publishing industry, being a co-author of several publications (especially children's education books), with input on design, illustration, and art direction.
I also guided some workshops for children, as I strongly believe in Education by art, especially since early ages, and how it can cause a social impact and promote change.
As visual artist, I am always focused in developing creative ideas and concepts choosing the appropriate media and style to meet the client's objectives.
